The aim of our Home School Agreement is to set-out our aims and values, as well as what we believe are our responsibilities are, those of our pupils parents /carers and the expectations of our pupils.
Below is a copy of our Home School Agreement, which we send home for all pupils and their parents / carers to review and sign to keep a copy of.
HOME SCHOOL AGREEMENT
At J H Godwin, we believe every child in our care is special in their own way. We value their talents and individuality. We believe ’Every Child Matters’ and aim to ensure that all children in our care are provided with the skills to equip them for a full and successful life and responsible global citizen.
J H Godwin is an inclusive school that welcomes everybody and recognises the achievements of all.
WE AIM
- To create learners for the future, for pupils to believe in themselves and become confident, independent and self-motivated with the necessary basic skills to succeed.
- To work in partnership with parents, staff, governors and the wider community.
- To create a learning environment that is respectful and tolerant of others, instilling traditional values of hard work, good manners and self-discipline.
- To provide a safe and secure environment with a strong, caring ethos, promoting healthy development for all.
- To inspire pupils through an exciting and excellent curriculum that promotes enjoyment and life-long learning.
We believe that a successful partnership between the school, parents/carers and the pupils helps each pupil to take full advantage of all that the School has to offer. The following Agreement supports this partnership in the interests of our children.
