Communication and Payments


The Gateway App

Most communications with parents/carers is done electronically via School Gateway.

It is important that when your child is admitted to the school you download the Gateway App to your mobile phone and set up an account.

The Gateway App – looks like this:

Communications are all sent out electronically. These include the following:

• School newsletter
• Letters about educational trips
• Sporting events
• After school clubs
• Key dates

. Having the Gateway App will also allow parents/carers to:

  • Give permission for your child to take part in activities
  • Make payments for school trips
  • Pay for breakfast club.

It is important that you ensure you enable your push notifications – this way you will be notified of any letters / text sent out by the school. If your push notifications are not enabled you will need to log on to your app to receive messages.

Class Dojo

The teachers communicate with parents through the Class Dojo app. Messages and quick updates/reminders specific to your child’s class or individual needs, will be sent out via Class Dojo. We ask you to protect teacher mental health and wellbeing by only expecting a reply during school working hours, For more information on how to use Class Dojo, please ask the class teacher.
