At J H Godwin we work hard to ensure our pupils are ready for their transition to High School. We strongly advise making use of the open days offered by the High Schools and that you visit 2 or 3 in order to decide which will be the best environment for your child’s next stage of education.
We work very closely with Blacon High School, because it is situated less than 200 metres away on Melbourne Road too. Most of our Year 6 children transition to Blacon High School. However, we work with any high school to ensure your child’s transition is smooth and to reduce any anxieties they may have about moving up to High School.
