The Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills (Ofsted) is a non-ministerial department of His Majesty’s government, reporting to Parliament. Ofsted is responsible for inspecting a range of educational institutions, including state schools and some independent schools, in England.
Ofsted inspect services providing education and skills for learners of all ages. They also inspect and regulate services that care for children and young people. Ofsted aims to improve lives by raising standards in education and children’s social care.
J H Godwin Primary School was last inspected in May of 2022, and received a Inspection rating of Good, with Outstanding for Behaviour and Attitudes, and Personnel Development.
