GDPR us a European regulation that sets a new standard for data collection, storage and usage among all companies that operate in Europe. It improves the protection of European data subject, rights and clarifies what companies that process personal data must do to safeguard these rights.
GDPR is designed to give individuals more control over their personal data and to harmonize data protection laws across the EU.
Companies, including ourselves must obtain explicit consent from individuals to collect, use and store their personal data, and provide clear and transparent information.
In the United Kingdom the Information Commissioner’s Office will check that everyone is complying with the law.
